In recent months, we have worked to improve the browsing experience and make our website increasingly useful from an operational standpoint as well.
Until now, the Gamm website was mainly a consultation tool: it allowed users to explore the product range, check dimensions, and download technical data sheets. However, the quotation request phase still required a manual step, with the need to collect product codes and information to be entered later into a request via form or email.
Now this process has been completely redesigned.
Within each product page, it is now possible to directly select the model code of interest, indicate the quantity, and add the item to a product list for quotation. A structured list that contains all the necessary information for a complete and accurate request.
Users can add multiple products, even different ones, progressively building a detailed request. Once completed, the list can be sent directly from the website with a single click, without the need to manually fill in emails or forms.
Advantages of the new quotation request system
This new system introduces several advantages:
- simplifies and speeds up the request process
- reduces the risk of errors in product codes
- ensures clearer, more complete, and easier-to-manage requests
- improves efficiency in handling requests by the sales department
Its functionality is similar to an e-commerce system, but without the purchasing phase: users select products, build their list, and send the quotation request in a single step.
With this update, gamm.com evolves from a simple informational tool into an operational platform designed to concretely support the daily needs of our customers.
