It is often assumed that only stainless steel or zamak are suitable for demanding applications. However, Gamm’s plastic hinges, made from PA6 reinforced with fiberglass, offer comparable performance in terms of load capacity, mechanical and thermal resistance (up to 130°C continuous use).
